Yellow Legged Hornet threat - IT'S HERE!

We are asking for help in spotting the Yellow Legged (Asian) Hornet. They were first seen in Ramsgate at the end of July 24 and there have been several sightings locally again this year. We are asking people to remain vigilant.  Please be on the lookout for this invasive and destructive pest. If you see something that you think is one please get a picture of it. Note that Asian Hornets have yellow legs. If you can trap it under a jar that would be great.  Queens are not aggressive and may be quite inactive but they do have a sting. If you are unsure you can send a picture via email to ThanetBKA@gmail.com or report it on the "Asian Hornet Watch" App available through Apple or Android Play Store. Thank you for your help.
